What Proof Money is

Proof Money is a self-custody crypto marketplace. You can buy and sell crypto with the payment apps you already use, swap tokens across chains, and send crypto to other wallets. We do not hold your funds or your private keys.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the service:

• Account data: your email address and a wallet address when you sign up.
• Transaction data: on-chain transaction hashes, order details, and fee amounts so we can process trades and calculate rewards.
• Usage data: anonymous page visits and error reports to keep the app running smoothly.

What we do not collect

We never collect your payment app passwords, bank logins, or screenshots. The Proof Money Verifier browser extension reads only the single payment you choose to prove, on your own device, and returns a cryptographic proof. Your raw payment details are never uploaded to our servers.

How we use your data

We use your data only to operate Proof Money: matching buyers and sellers, processing swaps and sends, calculating PXP rewards, and improving the product. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We use Privy for wallet auth and embedded wallets, LI.FI for swap/bridge routing, the Peer protocol for payment verification, and standard blockchain networks to settle trades. Each of these services has their own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can export your embedded wallet at any time from your profile settings. You can also contact us to delete your account data.
