Live on Base, trades settle peer-to-peer through escrow

How it works

How does it work?

You pay a real person through the payment app you already use. Their crypto is locked up before you pay, so once your payment is confirmed it's released to you automatically. Nobody is holding your money in between.

Why are the fees so low?

There's no card network, no bank wire, and no exchange in the middle. You pay the seller's rate plus Swapp's 0.5% fee, which works out to about 1% to 1.5% all in, against 3.5% to 5% on a card or exchange.

Why is there no extra ID check?

Your payment app already knows who you are. Swapp confirms that a payment happened using a private proof, so nothing about your account or balance is shared with anyone, not the seller, not us.
